Q: After installing the modpack FPS dropped!
A: Some mods that use more system resources:
Minimap from XVM (usually the main reason)

Q: How to configure the XVM in this mod pack? Getting “root config not found” error.
A: Open the XVM Editor
Click on ‘open’ and select all the .xc files (Located at World_of_Tanks \ res_mods \ xvm \ configs \ J1mB091\……..)
In that folder there are about 30 .xc files. Select them all (e.g: click one and after that click ctrl+a) and click open.
To be on the safe side: make a backup of your xvm folder before you start; if anything goes wrong you can easy go back to your starting point with the backup.
After you are done, save the file as xvm.xc in the folder World_of_Tanks \ res_mods \ xvm\configs

Q: Tank tier is covering Installed tank icons!
A: In game settings under “General” uncheck “show vehicle tier”

Q: Info panel, is in the wrong place or want it in different spot!
A: Find World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.8 \gui\scaleform\InfoPanel.xml and using Notepad++ edit <location x=”0″ y=”365″/> for each <arcade>, <sniper>, <strategic>, <postmortem>. Test different positions to find the best one.

Q: Backup! Where is it located?
A: It will be in World of Tanks folder.

Q: XVM Updater How to use and where is it?
A: XVM Updater is in res_mods folder. To get the latest Nightly and to keep an old config. Check “Keep old XVM config file” and select XVM version “Latest Nightly”

TO TURN NOSCROLL OFF (I.E. ENABLE SNIPER MODE VIA MOUSE SCROLL WHEEL)
1. Go to “C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.9\gui\scaleform”
2. Open “MeltyMapEnhancedSettings.xml”
3. Change “True” to “False” on line 87 (“<NoScroll>” tag)
4. Save and close the file

TO USE GNOMEFATHER’S HISTORICAL REALISM GUN SOUND MOD:
1. Go to “Alternate Files\HRMOD Gun Sounds”
2. Copy and paste “res” and “res_mods” into your BASE World of Tanks directory
3. Merge & overwrite when prompted

TO TURN OFF THE IGR HANGAR:
1. Go to “C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.9\scripts\client\gui\”
2. Delete “ClientHangarSpace.pyc”
TO CHANGE XVM CONFIG:
1. Copy the “xvm.xc” file in “Alternate Files\XVM Configs\Classic” or “Alternate Files\XVM Configs\Colorblind”
2. Go to “C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\xvm\”
2. Paste and overwrite the existing “xvm.xc” file
TO CHANGE XVM COLORS TO WOTLABS STANDARD:
1. Copy the “colors.xc” file from the “Alternate Files\WoTLabs Standard XVM Colors” folder
2. Paste into “C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\xvm\”
3. Paste and overwrite the existing file
TO CHANGE THE SERVERSIDE CROSSHAIR:
1. Choose the crosshair you want; examples are in the Screenshots folder
2. Copy the “gun_marker_blue_xxxxxxxxxx.dds” file that you want
3. Paste into “C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.9.9\gui\maps\ingame\aim\”
4. Delete the existing “gun_marker_blue.dds”
5. Rename your new file “gun_marker_blue.dd
